Complete Indoor Air Quality Solutions

The EPA estimates indoor air can be 2–5x more polluted than outdoor air. These systems address that.

Whole-Home Humidifiers

Bypass and drum humidifiers integrated directly into your furnace system. Maintain 35–45% relative humidity in winter to reduce static, protect hardwood floors, and ease respiratory discomfort.

  • Aprilaire, Honeywell & Lennox units
  • Automatic humidity control
  • Works with any forced-air system

UV Air Purifiers

Germicidal UV-C lights installed in your air handler neutralize airborne bacteria, viruses, mold spores, and VOCs as air circulates through your ductwork. Hospital-grade technology for your home.

  • In-duct UV-C installation
  • Kills bacteria, viruses & mold
  • Annual bulb replacement service

HEPA & Media Filtration

High-efficiency whole-home air filtration units catch particles down to 0.3 microns — pollen, pet dander, dust mites, smoke particulate, and more. Compatible with most forced-air systems.

  • MERV 13+ filtration
  • Captures pollen, dander & smoke
  • Works with existing ductwork

HRV / ERV Ventilation

Heat Recovery Ventilators (HRV) and Energy Recovery Ventilators (ERV) continuously exchange stale indoor air with fresh outdoor air — without losing the heat or cooling energy you've already paid for. Required by code in new builds.

  • Continuous fresh air exchange
  • Retains 70–85% of energy
  • Reduces CO₂, odours & VOCs

What Homeowners Notice

Air Quality FAQ

The most impactful improvements for most homes: 1) HRV/ERV ventilation to continuously bring in fresh air and remove CO₂ and stale air, 2) whole-home humidifier to maintain proper moisture in winter, and 3) UV purifier or HEPA filter for pathogen and particle control. We can assess your specific home and recommend the right combination.
An HRV (Heat Recovery Ventilator) continuously exchanges stale indoor air with fresh outdoor air while transferring 70–85% of the heat energy between the two streams. In winter it warms incoming cold air using the heat from outgoing stale air — you get fresh air without losing the heat you've already paid for. Mandatory in most new Ontario builds for a reason.
Yes — germicidal UV-C light is well-documented for inactivating bacteria, viruses, and mold spores. It's used in hospitals, water treatment plants, and HVAC systems worldwide. In-duct UV purifiers work by irradiating air as it passes through the air handler. They're most effective when combined with a good filter.
For most Toronto homes, an HRV is the better choice — Ontario winters are cold and dry, so you want to exhaust moisture (not recover it). ERVs retain more humidity and work better in humid climates. If your home is excessively dry in winter, an HRV paired with a humidifier is typically the optimal setup. We'll recommend based on your specific home and usage.
