Cost depends on the specific part and labour involved. We always diagnose first, quote upfront, and get your approval before any work starts. There are never surprise charges. Our annual maintenance plan is $169/yr — the best way to avoid most repair costs in the first place.
Watch for: yellow or flickering pilot flame (should be blue), unusual smells (sulphur or burning plastic), inconsistent or weak heat, strange sounds (banging, squealing, rattling), or a furnace that short-cycles (turns on and off frequently without heating the home). Any of these warrants a service call.
Most furnace replacements are completed in 4–6 hours. We remove the old unit, install and commission the new one, connect gas, check venting, test the system thoroughly, and walk you through everything before we leave. You'll have heat again the same day in virtually all cases.
